The idea for creating the documentary series Lijepa vasa came from following popular columns written by journalist Krešimir Dujmović. These are the stories of foreigners living in Croatia – their views of the country and its citizens, lifestyle, how they perceive their Croatian friends, partners, children. 12 episodes, 12 protagonists, 12 people who will challenge all ideas you may have regarding Croatia and its people

Jure Pavlović (1985) graduated directing at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb, Croatia. He took part in various international workshops like Berlinale Talents, Sarajevo Talent Campus, Sources 2, etc. His short films were screened and awarded on numerous international festivals such as Berlinale – Berlin International Film Festival and Clermont-Ferrand. His short film PICNIC won the European Film Academy Award (EFA) for the Best European short film in 2015.
