SEKVENCA is an award-winning production company based in Zagreb, Croatia that focuses on producing author-driven films appealing to a strong international audience.
SEKVENCA has produced or co-produced several successful films, such as “Picnic” (premiered at Berlinale FF, European Film Award winner), “Mater” (premiered at Tallinn Black Nights, awarded at Taormina FF, FEST Belgrade, etc.), “Jimmie” (opening film at Rotterdam IFF, Busan FF), “The Lovetts” (premiered at CPH DOX), and “Sirin” (premiered at Sarajevo FF), among others.
Films produced and projects in development by SEKVENCA have been supported by Eurimages, Creative Europe MEDIA, the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, CNC, the Film Centre Serbia, MIBACT, Re-Act, HRT – Croatian Radiotelevision, the Slovenian Film Center, and the Film Fund Sarajevo, and others.
